Felistas holds a Bachelor of science degree in nursing from Wilmington University and a post master’s degree in family nurse practitioner, a dual master’s degree in business administration and healthcare management from the same university. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is DOT and Workman’s comp certified as well. During her family practice training she was focusing on care of all ages as well as diverse populations at different outpatient settings including Westside Family Healthcare, A.I Dupont and Hope Clinic.
She is passionate about disease prevention and health promotion. She has great experience in occupational health, urgent care and primary care. In her current role as a sleep clinician her focus is to evaluate and treat patients with different sleep disorders in addition to educating them on the importance of a good sleep in the realm of both disease prevention and health promotion.
